    • Synopsis
    • Jasper, a troubled twelve-year old boy, tries to cope with his pain and loneliness after his mother dies from a terminal illness. Bullied at school, Jasper is suspended for a week when an altercation with a classmate turns violent. Sixteen-year-old Lucas is forced to take time off work to babysit his younger brother while their father works extra shifts at a local nickel mine to make ends meet. Alienated by his older brother, Jasper searches for friendship and a sense of belonging. When a wanted gunman seeks refuge in their small mining town, Jasper ventures to track him down and claim the reward money, but quickly realizes he needs his brother’s help.
