    • Synopsis
    • SUMMER 2014.
France - Joseph and his friends are spending their holidays on an organic farm, at a “Music and Nature” summer school. Little do these children know that just a few kilometres away, 4 of France’s 58 nuclear reactors risk laying waste to their freedom forever.
Japan - Hiroto and Nagomi live 20 km from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power station, far from their native land. With infinite sadness, they look back on the summers they spent playing freely with their friends, in a natural environment that has since become hostile. For these exiled children, the blue sky, music and poetry are all that is left of the madness of the adults who gambled their future away.
Denmark – Samsø Island. Emannuel, Niklas, Noah, Sofus and Victoria live carefree and happy. “The Energy Island” is a sacred place for them, where they can thrive safely, at the heart of an abundant natural environment preserved thanks to renewable energy, looking forward to daily life in the future with confidence.
Thus begins these children’s introduction to renewable energy. Thanks to adults who care enough to build them a sustainable future, they will share wonderful educational, musical and poetic experiences, and discover that their freedom is intimately linked to energy transition.
