- Synopsis
- Pipo, is a frustrated young homosexual artist living in the Cuba of the 70s in the middle of the prohibition period.
  To escape from the regime that is investigating him for his homosexuality, his friend Arturo, who lives in Miami, has conceived a dangerous plan. A speedboat will pick Pipo up at one of the most guarded shores of the island. Arturo's plan will not only risk Pipo's life, it will also risk the freedom of his closest colleagues.
  
  In the middle of the darkness of a night, at the foot of the coast where the escape is to take place, Pipo is surprised by a man who is at risk of death but who is also part of the regime from which Pipo is fleeing.
  
  Now that the "stranger" has discovered the young man's plans, Pipo will have to choose between saving a life and risking his dream of freedom or deafening his conscience and continuing on the path to his achievements.
  
  As we enter this story, in the middle of a stormy night, like the lives of its protagonists, we let the sea, so close and painful for both men, lead us to the unusual outcome of this exciting story of love and despair.
  
  A story about love, about dreams, about frustrations, about longings, a cuban story, but at the same time a universal one as we discover in it, the essence of the tragic truth for many peoples of the world today.
