    • Synopsis
    • In medicine, a “left side blowout” is another term for global aphasia, a form of brain damage that leads to an almost complete reduction of all aspects of spoken and written language. As the explosive title for this film, ​Left Side Blowout​ conjures the spirit and energy of the grindhouse exploitation films of the seventies that paved the way for such classic cult films as ​The Road Warrior​ and ​Escape from New York​.

      After a captive Woman escapes from a gang of pillagers and is left for dead in the contaminated zone, she begins to follow the gang’s trail in order to rescue an enslaved Maiden who's been condemned to wed the brutal Gang Leader. Along the way she recruits the aid of three strangers – a Musician, a Scavenger and a Hunter – whose combined skills, knowledge and determination help her overcome the dangers of a toxic landscape and a fractured, warring society.

      This a film about survival and humanity’s resilience in a world that's on the brink of annihilation. It's about communication and our ability to band together and rebuild society. It's dramatic, action-packed, pure, unadulterated cinematic fun.
