    • Synopsis
    • Lucas and Pepa have an obsession: to reconstruct with accuracy the picture of the first step taken on the moon by filming it in a desert. In the process they realize the footage they are imitating is altered: the supposed first step they were trying to recreate was actually the second astronaut to step foot on the moon. They decide to follow sociologist Mirta Varela, who is writing a book about Argentinean television. By registering her research they hope to find the original footage. The recreation of the first step on the moon provokes then a reflection about the mechanisms of live transmission which leads them to find an Argentinean report that contains the same altered image they had tried to recreate. Is it possible that no one ever saw the first step taken on the moon but that the second step has always been the one shown –even on the satellite transmission from ’69?
