- Synopsis
- Lena Platonos was born on 10.21.1951 beneath the sign of Libra, begun to play the piano from the age of two. She studied classical piano in Vienna and Berlin in late 70’s before returning to Athens. She was involved with electronic music from the beginning of the 80s, a time when the synthesizer became accessible to musicians around the world, making some records that have a unique sound and universe.
  These records were benchmarks of inspiration for the Greek electronic music scene later, but did not receive the international recognition they deserve.
  Since 2015 there is an international attention to her work through album reissues and several remixes.Our intention is to go back to the period of creation , talk to old collaborators and friends , describe the social and artistic context of the era while with the help of selected artists revisit her works 30 years after their conception.
