Since the accident, Luisa is not been able to put her life back together. That is when a seductive stranger comes into her life with vehemence and proposes starting over. When this man appears, Luisa reopens a grieving process that she had previously avoided. This leads her to reexamine the circumstances surrounding the fatidic double-death of her brother and her husband. The search gets strange. There are unanswered questions, and certain information from the past that now comes to light leads her to believe that there may be a hidden truth. Besides, her daily reality is quite demanding: Luisa is a very young woman with two small daughters and a household to support. In this new man, Luisa finds both emotional support to help her deal with her despair and something she did not think possible: the chance for a new beginning. The new man’s overwhelming energy may serve to hide some warning signs about his character, but Luisa’s confused state means that the desire she feels for the present man is juxtaposed with the figure of the absent man, and her inability to accept her husband’s death is blurred with the possibility to rebuild a family. Luisa is caught in contradictions, hurled into a world peopled by shadows, by flawed individuals and blurry lines between what’s possible and what’s advisable. A powerful anxiety ravishes everything that comes in its path and leads towards a heroics of catastrophe. The intentions were always good and the circumstances complex; only time will uncover what confusion concealed. Incident Light is a story inhabited by ghosts about the erratic beginning of a relationship that takes place during a grieving process and leads to a pregnancy. A story about the urgent need for a first light to come after darkness.
