    • Synopsis
    • Set in the heart of the Middle Eastern community in Vancouver, Canada, Kayan is a multifaceted story of love, belonging and loyalty. Hanin, a strong-headed Lebanese women,tries her best to keep Kayan, her struggling restaurant, afloat. With two young daughters, a demanding relationship with a younger man and a staff that rely on her, Hanin has no choice but to conjure up new ways to make money. Stranded by responsibilities, Hanin tries to persevere despite all her conflicts. Her preoccupation with her problems render her oblivious to the crisis that is unravelling in front of her eyes…
