    • Synopsis
    • The struggle of Six characters living in Cairo, Egypt under the pressure of intolerance by the society for different reasons. The six storylines are inter-weaved crossing the lives of each other.
      Jihad, a practicing Muslim who suffers secretly from his homosexuality and cannot reveal his secret.
      Laura, A foreigner perceived by the Egyptian society as an immoral libertarian with no values solely because she is Western.
      Fouad, was hospitalized for some time in order to recover from mental stress as a result of losing his wife and son in a car accident.
      Hayatem, The daughter of a popular belly dancer with a sulfurous reputation in a society where belly dancers are considered cheap prostitutes.
      Taheya, Raped when she was 18 years old, led to be considered “tainted”, so she cannot find love or marriage and her family was forced to move to hide her shameful secret.
