Invited by European governments and advised by his prime minister ‘Sepahsalar’, Irans King ‘Naser aldin Shah Qajar’, travels to Europe. He enters Paris with his entourage, after his journey through several European countries and indulging France president ‘Marshal Mcmahons’ invitation, goes to watch a Shakespears Romeo & Juliet play in Paris. His Iranian art counsellor ‘Khosro Mirza’ companies the King in this event. During the play, the King falls in a sudden love with ‘Francoise’, young beautiful actress playing Juliets role. After the play, Shah goes to meet Khosro secretly in a disguised look and asks him to import the Drama art to Tehran in its European way and play Romeo & Juliette there, starring Francoise in it. Finding a way to win Francoise’s heart, King also orders that he himself should play the Romeo in Tehran! Francoise faces intimate welcomes of Iranian King, so that King asks her to stay in the Golestan Palace instead of French embassy. As Francoise has got enthusiastic with the Golestan Palaces magnificence, accepts the king’s offer and they set to start the rehearsals the next day, in front of ‘Baadgir’ mansion.
