    • Synopsis
    • During the 2020 pandemic, I had some phone conversations with my mother and the need to ask about the past rose, mainly focusing on her relationship with my father. What were those days of my family like before I was born? Perhaps, having been going through a cuple crisis led me to the need to try to find answers in that past that I did not know. And at that moment, at 34, I met the best version of Julia. A strong, sensitive, romantic, rebellious woman with a view on life and relationships that makes you want to listen to her and also share.

Julia and Negro had 4 children and 3 separations in between. From my place as the youngest son, I decided to take an interest in those years prior to my birth. I was struck by the fact that they had been separated so many times and it made me want to inquire into my parents' relationship, since as long as I can remember, whenever I tried to know about those situations, I was cleverly avoided.

It could be said that Julia reviews her entire love life, with the interruptions that desire was marking her and with the contradictions of a woman who wanted to be free, independent, fall in love, and live passionately, but was trapped in a family and a society with a strong and conservative view. A woman who married someone she perhaps did not know and out of fear of what people will say decided to bet on her marriage, even though, many times, that meant giving up what she wanted.
