“There is something that no TV channel or radio station can faithfully tell: silence. In the first days after the earthquake, silence was everywhere. Not only in the rubble. People wandered like ghosts. Around people there was silence, inside people, silence”. The night of the 6 of April 2009 a violent earthquake destroyed one of the most beautiful Italian cities and its territory, with its wonderful artistic and natural heritage. After that night, L’Aquila became a theatre of both National and International politics. The Prime Minister, Mr Silvio Berlusconi, decided to move the G8 summit in the Abruzzo city to focus the attention on the city and to obtain International support. The film deals with the most media bombed and mystified city, going from resignation to thousands of transformations, mixing stories of people, sites, voices and laughing of jackall businessmen.
