    • Right after the Second World War, Jimmy Picard, an Indian Blackfoot who fought in France, is accepted in a military hopsital of Topeka, Kansas, a specialized place for brain troubles. jimmy picard has numerous troubles, such as dizziness, temporary blindness, loss of hearing... As there are no psychological causes, the diagnosis is schizophrenia. However, the hospital decides to take a specialist's advice : Georges Devereux's, a specialist of Indian culture. The film is about the meeting and the friendship of two men who should never have met, and who have nothing in common. Exploring Jimmy's memories and dreams is an experience they lead together, with a growing complicity, just as two investigators.
