    • Synopsis
    • A lively 6-year-old city boy, Jaysan, is left with his estranged grandparents in a kyrgyz remote village emptied by labor emigration. Surrounded only by the elderly and children, he misses his parents and struggles under his grandmother’s strict rules. As he slowly discovers the charm of village life and forms new friendships, he also witnesses violence and experiences dark emotions. When his loving grandfather dies, Jaysan is forced to grow up, caring for his grieving grandmother and leaving his once-carefree childhood behind.
