    • Ino Moxo is a trip through the Amazon in search of Don Manuel Cordova Rios (Ino Moxo, black jaguar), great shaman and Amazon legend. Throughout the journey, the ancestral knowledge of the Amazonian cultures is documented through the stories of the greatest remaining shamans and wise men of the forest; but especially through the spiritual relationship between man and nature.
      Javier is a city journalist who arrives in the Amazon looking for answers after a personal crisis. During an ayahuasca ceremony he sees a black jaguar that turns into Ino Moxo. Intrigued by these visions and the stories of the great shaman, he starts a magical and mysterious journey to the center of the Amazonia in search for him. Javier is an archetype of a city man that after problems in his personal life, puts his last hope in finding this great amazonian shaman, Don Manuel Cordova Rios.
      Healers teach him about the powers of plants. Artists and artisans show him the Amazonian worldview; elders tell stories about their ancestors and how the forest used to be like. The search for identity, ancestral knowledge, respect and coexistence with nature are at the core of this film.
      The story of Don Manuel Cordova is gradually revealed through the people who knew him and his great reputation as one of the most important healers in the Peruvian Amazon. Also Ino Moxo is a constant presence in the dreams and visions of Javier, of the visions where he gets lost in the forest and the jaguar that that guides and lurks him.
      This encounter of cultures: the man of the city and the man of the jungle; results in a transformation of the character. It is a story full of adventure, mystery and knowledge.
