    • Synopsis
    • Some rituals that take place in the home of Ludmilla, a seamstress and solo mom, can't be explained to anyone. Especially not to her children, Joana (9) and Dudu (11). When unknown women spend the night in their toy-filled bedroom, leaving bloodstained sheets, the kids are told to keep it a secret. Joana, fascinated by the blood she sees, tries to hurry her first menstruation. Dudu, who blames Ludmilla for his dad's absence, plots ways to bring him back. On Dudu's 12th birthday, driven by innocence and cruelty, the siblings decide to unravel their mother's secrets. And the family begins to crumble.
