- Synopsis
- Roberto lives confinated and isolated from the world in his small flat in Barcelona, secluding himself in a loneliness betrayed only when he gets the supplies his sister regularly procures. When a misfortune of fate leaves him without them, he will have to face a difficult crossroads.
  
  IN SEARCH OF THE OASIS belongs to the so-called CATHARSIS TRILOGY, three films that have in common the story line of the therapeutic, the cathartic, the absolute necessity to leave behind some moral wraiths in order to confront and overcome harmoniusly the different ups and downs in life: desires, fears, perversions, existential contradictions... Three small but emotionally powerful movies, where its director nudes himself in an extreme exercise of honesty and redemption.
