    • Laurie Gordon never knew her father; he died when she was 14 months old. Her only “memories” of him come from photographs, his testimony at the Eichmann trial the only audio of him in existence and Google. Growing up, she thought of her father as a free-spirited adventurer visiting faraway places in tumultuous times: Spanish Civil War, Hitler’s Europe, Hungary’s Revolution Lumumba’s Congo. Following her father’s trail zigzagging through defining moments of the 20th century, she discovers among her father’s few possessions, clues leading her to suspect he was a spy.
