    • Synopsis
    • The story focuses on Davis, an underachieving filmmaker who has been looking for his break for many years, and in the mean time has been working on his Masterpiece. Having managed to arrange himself a meeting with a producer, Davis is feeling upbeat about finally getting to make a movie, but when the meeting doesn’t go well he is forced to empty his meagre savings to try and raise the money to make the film on his own.
During Davis’ search for a suitable yet affordable camera, he find himself in a old junk stork where the owner has just come into possession of just the item.
One evening after his camera to a cast rehearsal, Davis plays back the footage to get a surprise when the camera starts speaking to him and has made it look much better than the performance that he’d witnessed earlier.
As a condition of helping Davis with his film, Davis agrees to help the camera acquire body parts so that the filmmaker living within can return to human form.
After a disagreement, Davis is asked to prove his loyalty to the camera and their arrangement by taking a kidney from his sister’s maid of honour, an action which really pushes him past the point of no return.
Further killings follow as tries to justify his newfound homicidal tendencies as a necessary part of his filmmaking process, whilst lying to the police and his sister become normal behaviour as he covers up his crimes.
The Camera also convinces Davis to kill one of the actors, that had been particularly disruptive, during the rehearsal, and Davis sees the potential to advance the camera’s plan and try to make use of body organs that would otherwise have gone to waste.
This leads to an ad. hoc audition for a replacement actor where he gets to meet a series of wholly unsuitable candidates, before picking one that the cameras has chosen.
Davis makes his film having various disputes with his camera along the way and losing many of his own body parts, whilst also baking his sister wedding cake, until he reaches his final day of shooting when shooting is complete and the camera is awaiting one final organ, so Davis cuts out his heart and makes payment in the open tape draw. At which point he drops dead.
A News team interview a dog walker that found the body, and a police officer who talks about Crime technicians having found a body under his patio, and searching for further bodies. Witnesses said that he had been talking to himself over the past few weeks
