    • “I am that little song” is the life, work and artistic career of Julio Lacarra (77 years old).
      Since its birth in cap. Sarmiento to this day the singer and poet will tell us his story in the first person.
      Using the excuse of recording a new album and together with a group of established musicians and folk singers, a journey will be made through his entire professional career.
      He toured Russia, Latin America, Mexico, and the USA, where in 1987 he sang with David Crosby, Graham Nash and Bonnie Raitt. Finally, Spain, Holland, Germany and Switzerland will also be remembered.
      Julio Lacarra's relationship with the poets Hamlet Lima Quintana and Armando Tejada Gomez - with whom he composed many songs from his repertoire - will be told by the artist in another of the moments of the documentary.
      While the artist will be shown recording the album with Teresa Parodi, Juan Falu, Raly Barrionuevo, Lito Vitali, Peteco Carabajal, Víctor Heredia and others, the stories of more than 60 years on stage will be told.
      On the other hand, while the narrative takes place, journalists, musicians, writers and music personalities will tell the achievements of this undisputed artist.
      An extensive photographic archive and video and film images of national performances and interviews will constantly illustrate the narrative. Although in some cases the quality of these files is not optimal, whether due to age or technology, their inclusion is essential due to their historical value.
      At the Mercedes Sosa Foundation, Julio will comment on the day he meets Mercedes and begins an artistic bond that gives him a great turn in his career, crowned in 1985 when Mercedes from Paris recorded the album “A Quique I Give” turning this song into a resounding success.
      Another important relationship was the friendship he had with Rafael Amor and his tour through Spain is another of the things that the artist will tell in this work.
      The story ends these days. showing his performance alongside Florencia and Francisco Suárez, his children,
      Julio Lacarra continues to move forward feeling that every stage he has been in and is in is the best place to take shelter.
