    • Synopsis
    • A spiritual love story involving two men and a woman.
The plot is a modern version of a fairy tale with a fox and a raccoon disguised as human beings to trick a wealthy man’s fortune.
The main character Yoshino (Raccoon) is a small and medium sized enterprise owner who is tired of life and is sick in the soul. Lee is a solitary Chinese living in Japan (the wealthy man) who owns a restaurant in Kabuki-cho. He has wealth and fame.
Several women (fox) appear and will cross paths with the men, however it has been setup so that which woman will successfully trick the Lee’s fortune will not be revealed until the very end of the film.
As this documentary based fiction film unfolds the stories of each character, it builds the tale from different viewpoints about the modern Japanese culture, spiritualism and mysticism.
The ending of a tale includes the tragedy of Isanagi/Izanami of the old tales, and Orpheus of Greek mythology was put on the roles of the main character. It is then wrapped up into an universal setup.
*Casts are all non-professional and they were given no script for the shooting.
