    • Synopsis
    • 1973, while the Vietnam War was ending, one of the most standing movements of the 20th century began its decline. Hippies, little by little, melt into the mass. But not all of them. Indeed the movement of counterculture scattered but some seeds and alternative communities continued worldwide. Aldeia Hippie de Arembepe, in the northeast of Salvador de Bahia in Brazil, is the one of them.
In Aldeia Hippie, local people live without electricity nor tap water. In this village in accordance with nature, the modern comfort hasn't had an access yet. Nowadays, in a world where power is money, Aldeia doesn't weigh heavy in front of the capitalist stream roller. How long will this village and his inhabitants still manage to preserve their social marginality ?
