    • Synopsis
    • In Tokyo, Tsugumi pursued a busy career, as well as a doomed romance. She quits her job and moves in with her grandmother in the countryside, who later dies an untimely death. This brings Tsugumi into contact with Kaieda, a university professor who says he was once her grandmother's devoted pupil. Something about Tsugumi appeals to Kaieda, which motivates him to rather pushily become her lodger in her grandmother's house. At first, she is at a loss to deal with the advances of this man who is several years her senior, but she slowly opens her heart to him. A woman who is convinced that she doesn't deserve happiness, and a man in his fifties who has given up on love, to the point where he believes he will never settle down or have a family of his own. This is the story of their odd living arrangement, in which two adults gradually come to terms with their feelings for one another.
