    • Synopsis
    • Heaven on the 7th Floor is a documentary film that tells the story of the charismatic Omar and his band through their tour around several regions in the North of Italy. A road movie recounted by the most famous Italian radio dedicated to ballroom music, with Angelo as its boss and last “king” of this sparkling world.
The movie explores places that seem to be frozen in time: either old-style nostalgic dance halls, or modern ones, or even glamorous night clubs. Those are all places that hide stories you would not expect. The movie shows its protagonists and the places where they belong, as representatives of moments of genuine tradition, sociality and a deep sense of community. They perfectly correspond to an un-represented Italy, celebrated during the economic boom that, just like the rest of the country, is facing the downturn and therefore questions its own identity.
