    • Synopsis
    • Reggie Nonac is a retired professional hockey player whose glory days are behind him. Now a widower, he leads a quiet life running a local garage and raising his teenage son Tom. As the local minor league hockey team’s rising star, Tom has quickly become Reggie’s greatest hope. But Reggie’s obsessive fixation on his son’s hockey dreams lead him to turn a blind eye to the effects of Tom’s recurring head traumas. When Tom is hospitalised, Reggie risks losing custody of his son in a very public way when sister-in-law, Robin, challenges his parenting capabilities. Tom’s survival playing the game ultimately threatens everything Reggie holds dear. Head Fake sends home the tragic message of the consequences of concussion related brain injuries in modern-day ice hockey.
