    • Synopsis
    • Tired of the monotony and the lack of adventure in their lives, Jesse and Maggie decide to leave New York and move to a remote town in northern Mexico, hoping to find the artistic inspiration they so much covet. It is there that we meet Meliton, a town swindler who is friendly and hospitable to the recently arrived couple and everything begins to make sense; Maggie, again inspired, resumes writing her next novel and Jesse interacts with the locals of the town, it is with them that he plans to base his next film. Both use Meliton as inspiration, until one day Jesse is approached by Don Chelo, the dangerous local crime boss, who will help them in the production of a movie. It is there where the fictions that Maggie and Jesse build begin to mix with the reality they live in, resulting in a cinematographic experiment that mixes different narrative layers in a game of intercultural representations where the actual shooting of the film and the fiction merge into a fun cinematographic adventure.
