- Synopsis
- Rio 2016 was the first time ever that athletes from the newly emergent nation of Kosovo were allowed to compete in the Olympic Games. This film captures the behind the scenes struggles, hard graft and grit of the humble Kosovo Olympic Team as they prepare to make history on the world stage.
  
  Getting to the games is not easy for anyone, but when you have to build your own athletics track in the hills, cycle day-in day-out on treacherous quarry roads or share your training facilities with a childrens’ dance class it’s even harder. Against all the odds, Kosovo made it. But what did it feel like for the athletes, their families, friends, coaches and the nation?
