- Synopsis
- Dagmara and thirtysomething Jeremy meet online and fall in love. Dagmara's convinced they’re twin flames, two halves of one soul reunited according to Greek mythology. As twin flames they will help each other be their best selves.
  
  Jeremy’s older, divorcee brother, Adam, a reformed party boy, unexpectedly visits. After an impromptu brunch Adam takes the lovers for a high speed drive in his Camaro. Dagmara admits she’s excited to have Adam as a future brother-in-law. Jeremy warns that Adam’s a predator who’ll try to seduce her. Dagmara assures that there’s nothing to fear; their love is unbreakable.
  
  After Dagmara’s day of meetings she admits to discreetly taking cocaine. She couldn’t admit it earlier fearing Jeremy’s judgement. Jeremy is livid and considers canceling their trip to his parents for his birthday.
  
  Jeremy’s parents are smitten by Dagmara. Dagmara apologizes about lying, promising Jeremy she’ll be communicative. With Jeremy at a meeting Dagmara calls to say Adam unexpectedly stopped by while she was alone, assuring Jeremy nothing happened. But Dagmara’s withdrawn behavior and strange coincidences fuel Jeremy‘s suspicion. Dagmara denies a cover up, claiming Jeremy's losing his mind. Jeremy’s parents begin to question Jeremy’s mental state. Jeremy confronts Adam who turns aggressive, accusing Jeremy of paranoia, urging Jeremy to not sabotage his glorious empire of love.
  
  Sense of self slipping, Jeremy’s devastated. On his birthday, he observes suspicious interactions between Dagmara and Adam.
  
  Two years pass. Jeremy runs into Dagmara who is out with her new boyfriend. Jeremy accepts Dagmara's offer for a discreet quickie. Later, Jeremy and his new girl Katie drive North to Jeremy’s parents for a get together with family and friends. There, with a concealed gun, Jeremy confronts Adam, on the verge of attack. Instead he embraces him; an unspoken truce.
  
  Katie looks up in the crowd of family and friends, catching eye contact with Adam who holds her gaze intently.
