- Gioia has devoted her whole life to her work as a teacher. She’s fifty years old, and her days go by one after the other, unchanged and quiet in the provincial high school where she’s always been teaching. The encounter with a new student, a cynical and manipulative narcissist, will gift her the illusion of a romantic dream she gave up a long time ago. But reality will turn out to be different, cruel and painful. An intimate and poetic story about our hunger for love.
