    • Synopsis
    • This is a futuristic adventure film blending the inspirations of Arthurian myth contemporary sci-fi and the evolution of it in the future. The story takes place in the year 2500. Most of the life in the world takes place under a dome that can be manipulated to any place anytime in the history of world by Conran the evil leader. On the outside are the "outsiders", clans of rebels, who have evolved to live within a deevolutional Tokienesque landscape. They prefer the outside and have no use for the "skins"", which inhabit the dome. The inhabitants are called "skins" because of the unitard uniform that provides them with all that they need from nutrition to sensual pleasure or as much as Conran will allow them.
The story opens with coronation of the future king, Art, a month away. The first king in 1000 years. The royal blood has been started anew with use of genetic manipulation by Merlin, resident scientist and computer whiz not to mention magician, beer salesman and prisoner of Nimue, AKA Prime Minister Conrad. As the coronation nears, Prime Minister Conrad, the sinister leader of the dome, devises a plan to rid the world of Art and the outsiders as well as secure his own leadership. He orders Art and his caretaker, Nan, a woman of many talents and Art’s bodyguard, confidante and nanny since birth, to be kidnapped by his men disguised as outsiders. The plan is thrown into disarray when the impostors run into three real outsiders, Syd, Gwen and Burly, in the caves under the dome. They are on a mission to secure a laser to mend a hole in a cave wall where radiation is leaking. Syd is the leader of the Outsiders clan; Gwen a sleek streetwise girl is champion of the outsiders; and Burly is the clownish friend and dime store philosopher. They free Art and Nan and take them outside to safety. The outside is new and magical to George and presents the perfect place for him to discover his innate "Arthurian magic".
Conran upon hearing of the escape orders the annihilation of all the outsiders and the death of Art and Nan. The chase begins! Conran using all the means at his disposal is mysteriously thwarted by Merlin's magic, even though he is being held captive below the castle, his still powerful magic guides Art, to his natural throne with a couple of dragon slayings and Stonehenge toppling and mind bending wars along the way. Not to mention love in the making between Art and Gwen and Nan and Syd.
Growing more desperate as the coronation grows closer, Conan kidnaps Nan to draw Art back to the dome. It works but not the way Conan plans as Merlin enters again to save the day after a surprise mind expanding diversion and conversion...
