- Synopsis
- Two sisters at conflict that just love to hate eachother, and a half-brother and his new wife caught between the two. This dysfunctional family will experience a life changing summer. Traumatic incidents, present conflicts, horror-manga, bloody family feuds , are all a part of this passionate drama. On a steamy summer day in a rural mountain village, Sumika, an aspiring actress, returns from Tokyo to attend the funeral of her parents. who died in a tragic car accident. Upon Sumika’s return, her younger sister Kiyomi seems to be very afraid of Sumika’s existence. There is a traumatic experience that has caused this tension. The older half-brother of the two, Shinji seems to be caught in the middle. He’s got a secret that he can not tell his new arranged marriage wife, Machiko, who is puzzled by the relationship of the three, but happy to have her sister-in-law come home. So with the return of this eccentric older-sister Sumika, the Wago family will experience a summer that will change their lives forever. Each member tries to find the meaning of life and love in their own way, but will they ever?
