- Synopsis
- An uplifting, feel-good, girl empowerment british comedy drama. ‘Plain jane’ Sylvia is chronically lacking in self-confidence, splitting her life between her family- Dad (Martin) and football-mad brother Jack and the telephone call centre where she works for monstruous Bowker and his Executive Assistant the sexy Karen whose aim in life is to be as unpleasant to Sylvia as humanly possible. One day, Sylvia sees the gorgeous Pablo strutting his stuff at a Flamenco demo and she’s hooked. So unfolds a tale of passion in Perivale.
