Philadelphia. A fifty years old, sicilian decent shoemaker called Enrico, lives with Mark, it's 17 only son, orphan by mother. Enrico is a great man, careful father, munificent with its employee, religious. He often relate to its son about their origin, a poor immigrates family that leaved Sicily a century ago, to find fortune in the so-called New World. They were willing and honest people, that gained respect through hard work. A beautiful story with an “enemy”: the Mafia that killed their syndicalist uncle, trying to destroy their positive values. Enrico taught Mark about solidarity, respect, sense of duty and necessity to defend themselves by this “enemy”. One day, this enemy came with the shoes of a boss of mafia that afflicts strong injuries to Enrico. Mark, deeply turbed, found the necessity to kill the boss, to defend the love for its father by the hate for the mafia. Enrico luckily survived, but, successively, its son discovers that the history of its origin was a lie. Enrico manipulated him, using the love of its son to guide him to kill the boss and take its position.
