- Synopsis
- Noeul lives the most insignificant life in the hellish real world when one day he holds a killer's bloody knife. A blind dog and a shabby old blind man comes and demands to take his eyes in exchange for the blood. Noeul refutes the bloody knife is his but the old man demands to pluck his eyes out. Noeul thinks the old man is crazy but in the end he concedes and forfeits his eyes.
  
  The only thing Noeul has is his two good eyes and cries out unfair when asked to forfeit them. Before the old man takes Noeul’s eyes he lends Noeul the eyes that can see all he wants to see and all he wishes to see in the world before he disappears. Noeul thinks the old man is crazy and disregards what he’d said but when he imagines something wishful for a moment it materializes in front of his eyes.
  
  Noeul becomes a bird flying in the sky and looks down on the world, then becomes a fish and sees the deepest oceans. He sees through the eyes of a woman and enjoying all the riches of the world through the eyes of a rich man. Noeul sees through his harlot mother’s eyes who died giving birth to him and himself being thrown into a trash can as a baby. He screams he has nothing more to see. The blind dog and the blind old man reappears. Noeul cries out that he only dreamt for a short while and cries unfair to take his eyes but the old blind man plucks out both his eyes.
  Born as an orphan and thrown into the world's trash can, the abandoned Noeul grows up struggling in his insignificant life in the real hell like world. Noeul works at Club Emperor which boasts the highest luxury on earth as in heaven. One day a VIP guest is killed in the VIP room and the killer gives Noeul a bloody knife and a bundle of money before quietly disappearing.
  
  Noeul, holding a bloody knife and a bundle of cash turns his back on the world and disappears. Noeul holding a bloody knife and a bundle of cash hesitates in a dark alley when approached by a blind dog and a shabby old blind man. The blind man named Jijon tells Noeul that the blood on the knife served as eyes for him and his dog but now does not and demands to take Noeuls eyes in its place. Noeul thinks that the blind old man is crazy and is flabbergasted.
  
  But Jijon stubbornly persists in taking Noeuls eyes. Noeul feels that his eyes are the only possession he has and is demoralized by the world that wants to take the only thing that he has. Noeul screams out his resentment and loneliness in this world. Jijon seeing Noeuls regret tells him that he will lend him the eyes that can see what he wants to see and all that he wishes to see in the world before taking his eyes, then disappears.
  
  Noeul thinks that the blind man is crazy and returns home. The blind girl from next door is waiting for Noeul but he screams at her to leave him alone. Noeul feels that she embodies all that is bad in his life his mirror image. Noeul sleeps while imagining what he wants to see and next day Noeul sees what he had imagined and everything he wants to see..
