    • Synopsis
    • In a remote village in the mountains of Pakistan, a young mother’s worst fear comes true. Allah Rakhi (Samiya Mumtaz) discovers that her ten-year old daughter, Zainab (Saleha Aref) has been promised to an old tribal leader to settle a blood feud. Horrified that her daughter’s happiness and innocence will come to an end at such an early age, Allah Rakhi makes a courageous decision to escape with her daughter on the morning of the wedding. Thus begins their desperate journey into the unknown. Pursued by her husband’s family and the tribal leader’s henchmen, they escape onto the open mountainous highway where seeking help, Allah Rakhi convinces a reluctant Sohail, (Mohib Mirza) a cynical ex-Mujahid truck driver, to take them on-board. Unwittingly, Sohail is placed in danger as anyone discovered helping these runaways will share their fate. Their destines now entwined, Allah Rakhi and Sohail fight feelings of forbidden love as the relentless chase intensifies and they make their uncertain escape towards the distant city of Lahore.
