    • Synopsis
    • Sam Doonby, a mysterious drifter, steps off a Greyhound bus and quickly becomes the talk of the small Texas town. He quickly finds work at Leroy's Country Blues Bar, where his musical talent makes him a small-town star, attracting the attention of the beautiful but spoiled Laura Reaper.
      Sam mysteriously seems to always be around close to a potential disaster and able to prevent them from happening. It’s not long before the narrow minded townsfolk become jealous and start to question his sudden appearance and motives. But, it is Laura’s doubts that that cause Sam to disappear, leaving the townspeople to deal with some difficult revelations.
      Sam’s sudden disappearance forces those he left behind to deal with some painful revelations and to question his mysterious arrival and departure.
