    • Synopsis
    • The elder of the two boys is driving her crazy. He wants a new pair of shoes, Nike’s
High Premium 2, to be exact. She’s getting nervous behind the wheel; she just wants
to get them home. As the boy tries to throw his shoes out of the car window, she turns
back: “If you go on like this you’ll have to eat your shoes!”
… But at that very moment… BAM!
… an enormous BMW smashes into the highway wall, having swerved to avoid their
      car.
She starts to babble about her faults, talking too much… She’s made that way, and
speaks everything’s that passes through her mind.
At the garage, she looks at the BMW owner’s garage bill and a shiver runs down her
      spine.
The man, in his fifties, is silent. He waits.
Under his gaze, she starts jabbering that it will be difficult for her to pay the money
      back…
But instead of getting angry, the man starts asking questions:
Where does she live? How does she live?
It’s not a big deal, he says. Everything will work out. And if he has a problem in the
      future, he will contact her.
Some days later, the man calls her and sets a meeting by a highway. He has a request
and shows her a picture of a man.
“Do you want me to have sex with him? No way!”
She misunderstood. He hands her a gun.
The coldness of the gun’s metal surprises her.
The man shows her how to use the pistol. He says it will be simple. She only needs to
follow the man, approach him and shoot. The gun has a silencer. She won’t have to
turn back or look at the victim. She can walk away as if nothing ever happened. But
most importantly, she won’t have to turn back.
      - It’s nothing. It will take you only ten minutes. And you will be doing me a big
      favour.
She does exactly as he ordered. She follows the man along a deserted street, drawing
closer and closer. Time quickens. She shoots, the gun lets off ‘pfff’ sound, like an
expiring balloon. Without looking back, she continues walking down the street.
As she had the smart idea of negotiating a little ‘extra’ of one thousand pounds, she
decides to raid the big Carrefour at the corner.
But, as soon as the money is gone, the misery of her life comes back tormenting her
      thoughts.
One day she meets the BMW man in the city. Needless to say, she can’t avoid asking
      him a new job…
Their relationship blends mutual attraction and discretion. The speechless man is
actually retaining her services just so he can see her again.
But of course, everything will go too far.
The minimalism of the treatment compliments the absurdity of the story’s offbeat
      humour.
If he barely speaks, she definitely talks too much.
‘Direction Assistée’ is the story of a retiring Boss and of a spontaneous young
woman. A love story tainted with blood.
After too many victims are sacrificed, things will have to change.
He will die, she will be saved. In this story of sacrifice, only her innocence will be
      preserved.
The last action of a cruel Boss, the only good thing he’s ever done, will save at least
      one life.
