- Synopsis
- After Chilean students jumped the subway turnstiles to avoid paying the ticket, for the increases in the value of this, and invited workers, users of this means of transport to do the same, the history of Chile changed forever , thanks to the intelligence and courage of the young people, who are barely 16 or 17 years old.
  The people admired them, and began to demonstrate peacefully and happily in the squares, especially in the former Plaza Baquedano, today the Plaza de la Dignidad, baptized by the protesters. Millions of Chileans have joined in the streets to denounce the abuses of politicians and big businessmen, in the health system, pensions, housing, education, looting of water, the environment and Mother Earth.
  The demands have not been accepted, and quite the contrary, the President began to send police and military to repress these demonstrations, transforming this situation into an unequal and unfair war against the people.
  As peace activists since 2013, we feel the need to go to the first march, and carry our Peace Flag, accepted in International Law in 1935, by 21 countries of America in the White House. And of course make a record of this unusual manifestation and joy of so many Chileans who wanted a change in our country. We never thought that this situation would be extended for so long, and that it would have consequences as disastrous and tragic as those experienced by thousands of innocent people.
  We have been in almost all the marches, for two months, in Santiago, and we also went to La Serena (IV Region). We have seen many things, we have lived intense moments, we have started from the police, tear gas and water jets, we have seen the looters, and we have been with the hooded ones, and we feel part of those who are changing the world. Because this phenomenon is occurring in several countries of America, and also in other continents. The people want to get all the politicians and big businessmen corrupt and abusive forever, Chile "woke up".
