- Synopsis
- Maria Pritchard and her son are missing. So says her sister, who expected them to
  show up for a visit five days ago. Maria's husband, Jackson, a taciturn man with a
  troubled past, is not returning calls. The FBI agent and Deputy sent to the remote and
  perennially underperforming family farm outside Devil's Gate, North Dakota find more
  than they bargained for. Not only is Jackson Pritchard completely uncooperative and
  downright hostile, it appears he has someone locked in the cellar—or perhaps it's
  something. As night falls and increasingly strange phenomena conspire to trap them
  in that desolate location, the law enforcement officers must either join forces with an
  unstable man they suspect of misdeeds or fall victim to the same demons that beset
  him. But could it be true what Pritchard says—that the demons are real and he's
  actually captured one of them?
