- Synopsis
- When four YOUNG MEN reunite at an ex-classmates funeral, one of them offers up some inside information on a stock that’s a guaranteed lock to make them all instant millionaires and an opportunity to get out of dodge. They agree to formalize a partnership before the night’s end to invest in what they believe to be a “sure thing.” Unfortunately, for them, the deal goes south along with their investment.
  Things go from bad to worse when it’s revealed one of the boys borrowed the lost money from EDDIE LAVOTA, a mobster (Travolta). Eddie offers the boys an opportunity to pay off their debt; his niece was kidnapped by a drug dealer and he asks the boys to kidnap the dealer’s brother so he can make an exchange for the niece. They tell Eddie “no”, that they have no interest getting involved in any criminal activities.
  Realizing the grave consequences if they refuse Eddie’s request, the guys reconsider Eddie’s offer and kidnap MARQUES, the dealer’s brother, and hold him in an abandoned building. But things continue to spiral out-of-control when Marques reveals himself as the nephew of the head of Detroit’s “Black Syndicate.” Through twists and turns they seemingly escape their situation unscathed... only to find out that the one they trusted most, was the one who set them up for an even bigger fall...from the very beginning.
