    • Synopsis
    • Bilal, a 30-year old Algerian, has never worked, traveled or taken any decision. He fell in love (a bit in spite of himself) with his neighbor Fatiha and will marry her soon. She urges him to find a job. Against his will and under the orders of his future father-in law, Bilal finds himself cleaning a ferry before its departure to Marseilles... After a boozy night with his best friend Rabah, before he escapes clandestinely to Paris, Bilal wakes up the next morning in Marseilles.
Bilal’s sole objective will be to return to Algeria for his wedding. But major obstacles will stand in his way and make his return almost impossible. He will face a zealous lawyer, who seeks to publicize his cause, thus forcing him to stay in France while Raymond, a retired right-wing party militant, will become his best ally.
