    • Synopsis
    • Coffee cartels have efficiently manipulated coffee grades and subtly dictated auction prices since the existence of the coffee sector. When 23 year old MIKE discovers how farmers in his poverty stricken hometown are being exploited by this ruthless coffee cartel, he embarks on a mission, with the help of his University buddy JUNIOR, to expose and stop the scambags.

When the two friends stumble upon a goldmine of incriminating information, the cartel kidnaps Junior and offers to release him in exchange for the evidence. Mike finds himself at a crossroads: Save Junior or go for the cartel’s jugular.

With the help of his brother JONATHAN, girlfriend AGNES, a British coffee roaster named COLE and his Kenyan wife MUMBI, Mike manages to save Junior. The cartel is apprehended and charged for kidnap and attempted murder.

Cole and Mumbi later help Mike take his story to an international platform, appearing at an international trade conference where he delivers a moving and provoking speech, which catches the attention of the international society.

Pressure from International trade organizations and the International media forces the government to act and start reviewing the old law. Eventually, a new law is passed that allows the coffee society to sell coffee directly to dealers without going through the local brokers.
