    • Synopsis
    • Azul (Hochbaum) (17) and Paula (Castiglione) (34) have just lost their mother, Teresa (65). The older sister decides to cremate the body, but Azul is not satisfied and searches for money among their mother's things to pay for a burial. While going through the drawers, she discovers a revealing photo: Paula is not actually her sister but her mother, and Teresa is her grandmother. Azul goes into shock and wants to know about her father. Paula tells her that he was a fleeting romance in her adolescence when she ran away to Cabo Polonio. Azul's desire to meet him and Paula's guilt for the lie are the driving forces for the protagonists to leave, almost without resources, for Uruguay.

      During the journey, they make a mandatory stop at Aunt Mecha's (Maura), who never met Azul due to historical disagreements with Teresa about the identity they hid from her.

      The journey continues, and with each experience, they recover a bit of their history and build a new bond. Adventures await them on the road, an unknown father, and the magical sunset of Cabo Polonio, an ideal setting to decide whether to choose each other again and reinvent themselves.
