      A battery is the combination of the pitcher and the catcher in baseball. There has not been a brother battery in major league baseball in 50 years.
      Matt and Mark Tucker want to change that. Born and raised in a tiny town in Missouri, the Tucker brothers are both highly-touted major league prospects, leading their high school team to the State championships in 1985, after which it seems certain that the brothers will play together in the major leagues, but Mark must battle injuries, alcohol and self-doubt while playing winter ball for a minor league team in the Dominican Republic.
      Five years later, Matt is a millionaire superstar for the Los Angeles Dodgers,whereas Mark is recovering from a third shoulder injury, and still playing for pennies in the Dominican Republic.
      Through everything though, the brother’s love stays strong and they never lose sight of their dream. At long last, Mark gets his chance when in the summer of 1992 he’s awarded the final spot on the Dodger’s roster, and as the season begins it appears the brothers of the battery will finally be reunited...
