- Synopsis
- Wataru is a timid 10-year-old boy who wakes up one day to find his sheltered world collapsing. His father is leaving the family, and his mother attempts suicide as a result. Searching desperately for strength, Wataru turns to a new boy in school, Mitsuru, who tells him of a way to change his destiny by passing through a mystical doorway into a parallel universe where wishes are granted but where failure means no return. Forced to grow up quickly, Wataru pursues Mitsuru into a fantastic supernatural world where a host of otherworldly beings assist him on his personal quest.
