- Synopsis
- In Season 1, we follow the gripping
  journey of seventeen-year-old athlete
  Aimi as her life takes an unexpected turn
  when she discovers an alternate
  underwater universe.
  Aimi has an uncanny ability to stay
  underwater for a long time and pushes
  the record time past 25 minutes. While
  doing so, she inadvertently unlocks a
  portal to a mysterious kingdom ruled by
  children. As a regular teen athlete, Aimi
  must transition from her ordinary life to
  the true reign of the underwater world.
  Guarding the border between the worlds
  are the Dark Watchers, banished from
  both they lurk in the shadows. With a
  disturbance between the realms, the
  imbalance opens up for some of the Dark
  Watchers to break away from the curse
  holding them – slowly disrupting the
  balance in Season 1.
  Adopted after a tragic childhood event
  killed her parents, Aimi has never felt like
  she belongs anywhere. As an artistic
  Olympic youth teen, she is a master in
  the water but has a deep fear of the
  ocean and stays in pools only. Grappling
  with her identity and alliances –
  distinguishing her true friends from
  enemies – the season deepens as she
  seeks to learn more about why she was
  taken from the underwater world and
  who, claiming her from her birthright. The
  cliffhanger of Season 1 is when she finds
  her parents are still alive, held captive in
  a different underwater realm.
