Synopsis
BLACK BOOK marks director Paul Verhoeven's return to European cinema with a tense and erotic thriller. Barely escaping a Nazi massacre in the fall of 1944, young and beautiful Rachel Steinn - a Jewish former revue star - joins the Dutch resistance. But this group is soon shattered by betrayal and Rachel is falsely accused as the traitor. Ironically, the only man she can trust is the Head of the German Gestapo in Holland. Rachel has to track down the real traitor and take her revenge. It will not be sweet.
