    • Synopsis
    • In the 21st century, in the State of Rio de Janeiro, maroons ( quilombos ) and indigenous peoples are united in the struggle for land , to perpetuate their origins, their culture and their religion. How is the relationship of the afro american man - a direct descendant of slaves from Africa, with this formal society that ignores the various ethnicities as part of this nation .
The right to own the land of their ancestors, in many Quilombos throughout Brazil, transforms these communities in areas of battle for recognition, rural cells and armed resistance only with the hope to coexist in peace with the rest of the country.
In this same situation lies several indigenous communities in a relentless struggle for the right to land , in order to maintain their families and traditions without the presence of invadors or elements that condemn them to live in a misery , as if they were not true Brazilians
