      Belle Du Seigneur tells the story of an unusual love affair and a complicated relationship set against the backdrop of pre-war Geneva at the League of Nations.

      As Fascism grows in Europe, Solal, (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) a seductive and complex high-ranking Jewish officer in the League of Nations tries to find refuge from his inner demons and begins a tempestuous love affair with a married woman, Ariane, (Natalia Vodianova) the beautiful and bright upper-class Protestant Genevan and wife of one of his subordinates.
