    • Synopsis
    • Battalion To My Beat is the story of a 13 year old tomboy living in the refugee camps of Western Sahara. Dreaming of a life beyond the confines of the camps, Mariam runs away to join the military in the middle of the desert, naively envisioning herself a Jeanne D'Arc who will liberate her country from occupation.
